PASSPORT PHOTOS:
I didn't realize just how many passport photos we actually needed to have. First trip to Costco we purchased 6 and I thought that was going to be plenty. I quickly found out we were going to need to go back for another round. This time we bought 12. We needed only one for the passport, 6 for the visa and we'll need 1 for the international driving permit. Landon is also supposed to take several with him to the MTC. Wished I knew that the first time we went to Costco. Maybe I should have read the booklet better ;)... $50
We mailed in all his visa papers along with his passport to the church travel division last week. They will hang on to everything and then give it to him at the MTC.
DRIVING RECORD and INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT:
We got a copy of Landon's driving record and were able to do it online! Yay, I just love it when things can be done online. I am happy to report that the driving record was in great shape! ...$9
The international driving permit has to be mailed in and we are in the process of doing that now through AAA ...$15
MEDICAL RELEASE:
Because of the HIPPA laws Landon had to add Dean and I to his medical papers so that we can access any of his medical information that might be needed. This is done through the church's medical insurance department. Don't we belong to the greatest church ever! It runs like a well oiled machine! This is our first missionary but it sure isn't the churches first rodeo. This is very evident and it brings me a lot of peace.
