I was so excited when I saw all your gifts!I didn't expect it! That is very nice of all of you! I can't wait to see what's inside!It's going to be hard not being with you guys, but it is still going to be a good one I am sure! It'll be interesting!Oh and when I found those ear plugs, I yelled at the top of my lungs and got in trouble... Haha! I am so excited for a good nights rest finally!
I told my companion and roommates that I was bff's with John Schmidt and they all FREAKED! Haha it was funny... (Landon played football with his son for several years and spent time in his home)I'm finally starting to get sick of the food I think...That or I just stuffed my face at lunch and couldn't eat dinner...I dunno.
Elder Flores, has a pretty rad conversion story...He just turned 20 today and he was a sniper in the Marines! He has some pretty insane stories of Afghanistan. An EPG went off when he was upon a cliff and blew his knee all to bits and got sent home.They said it would take 2 years to fully recover and like a month before that he was converted and baptized in the church. He said that God didn't have to blow up his knee to tell him to go on a mission because, he was going to anyways haha. So it's pretty crazy. Elder Burkhart and I are getting along pretty well! So that's good. Everyone in the district is getting along well! I will be sending pictures soon!
I hope you guys are doing well!!! You're in my prayers and I have felt yours! Oh if you could include the date you sent the Dear Elder letter within your letter, that would be great! For some reason it doesn't in the letters. I did my first load of laundry EVER on my P-day, and did awesome! haha. I don't know what mom has been complaining about... ;) JK!!!
There are actually a lot of attractive girls here... I was surprised!
