"You will be an official representative of the Church . . . Your purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ . . . Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." . . . Thomas S. Monson

(You just can't beat a little fun with a camera and a mirror in the bathroom!)
My Family,
Bonjour! Sorry it took so long to get back! I hardly have any time except for my P-day..but look at me! I found time! Cool eh? I actually like writing letters better because I can really think about what to say. Unlike emails where  you can't really focus because everyone is talking and you're all rushed and what not! So this is better, but I know email is way more convenient, so I will for sure continue to do that.

My week has gone really good thus far! I'm not gonna lie, it's been kind of slow! But not always. But sometimes. But I like it! It's all good! The schedule and campus I pretty much know like the back of my hand! Which is pretty good because I have actually been looking at my hands a lot lately.  I have never noticed how many scars I have on them! All from football and cars i'm pretty sure. Still interesting.

French is coming along! There are days where I learn a ton of french and grammar and such , then there are other days when I feel that I don't learn a thing! So all together it's been good! I am kinda scared about the fact that when I get to Africa , I will be so lost in the language! I think that will be a very interesting change. Other than the language part of learning, the gospel part of it is going really well! I have learned so much about the doctrine of this church! I love it! Everything is so spiritual, wherever you go!

I left the campus with my companion the other day for his Dr. appointment . It was so weird to leave the campus! I felt like I was going to get in trouble or something. When we got to the Dr's office, the receptionist was listening to Pandora and my mind couldn't even comprehend the Ke$ha and Mumford Sons that was playing! Sinners of the world... No I am kidding! It was just different! When we got back to the campus, I really felt more "safe"! Haha it was weird. I can only imagine what Africa will feel like! I know that after a week or so I will feel right at home!

We haven't really heard anything at all about Benin, but a little bit. There is a resource teacher who works here who went to Benin and Togo. I talked to him for only a minute, but he filled me in on some stuff. He said he flew between Benin and Togo 3 times while he was serving. He said that Benin is usually better than Togo compared to living. He said you'll usually have hot water there, but the power goes out a lot. He also said he ate a lot of fried chicken. Haha I dunno. That's about all I remember! Not much we didn't already know. I'll let you guys know if I hear anymore!

How is everything going at home? Everything good? How is work going for dad?  Hey, If you could, I want all my ties that are in my room! Please and thank you! I know I will get some in Africa, but I would like more...Thank you!

You guys are always in my prayers and I am so blessed to have such an amazing family! I can't wait to hear back from you!! I love you!
