Hello... :) I hope that everyone has had a wonderful week this week! School's out for the summer, everyone is enjoying the nice summer weather (I would assume..), and everything is just going awesome! I'm sure everyone in Utah is stoked to be out of school for summer! You're totally right, it does seem crazy to think that a whole entire year has passed since that was me graduating! That's insane. That was a fun time though! I wish I could re-live that for sure! That was a fun time in my life. But lets be honest, this time and serving right now is 10 times better! You'll have to let me know when all of those kids that I coached start getting their mission calls! I am super interested to hear on where they all have been called to serve the Lord in this amazing work! Now that it's summer, that means that football season is just right around the corner! Sorry family... But I think for the next couple months, there is going to be something that I am missing more than you... Football! Haha just kidding! But I will be super bummed that I'll miss it. You'll have to keep me updated on how my Braves do.
So
this week has been a pretty good week! It seemed, once again, that I just
seemed to blink and it went by again! Crazy times. I don't think that I will be
able to write much today because we have a family home evening with a family
tonight! I'll try and get some pictures while we are there and send them to
you! It is with Philip and his family. Except for he is still in Ghana so it's
with Marie and her kids! It'll be exciting I'm sure!

I
received the package with the Ensign and everything else that was sent with it!
I loved it so much!! Conference was bomb! Well I've only read Saturdays
sessions so far. Elder Oaks on Sacrifice was super good!! So was Elder Holland’s!
As always... I can't wait to get into the other ones! I got it before everyone
else too, we won't get them as a mission for awhile I guess. So next
conference, make sure to send that again! It was interesting to get the
newsletter about all the kids from Bountiful! It was fun to see pictures and
letters from all of them! I was super embarrassed though because mine took up
like 5 pages and everyone else’s only took up like half a page! Way to go
mom... ;) Haha kidding.
Teaching is going super well! We have been having some troubles with
getting our amis to come to church. We went from an average to 7 each Sunday,
and now we're down to about 2... So we need to collaborate and find out what we
need to do different! Other than that, we have a couple baptism dates fixed for
Sergio and Mariam. So we are hoping that they can do what they need to do to be
prepared! We also met an 18 year old kid names Dossa this past week. He is s
super smart kid and lives in a huge house that his dad bought for him to study
in. So he comes from money which will be good for this branch! We have a
meeting with his dad as well this next week. So let's hope that we'll be able
to "baptize the hell out of em!" It’s a joke... Do you get it?
Missionary humor. But yeah everything is going super good here in the neck of
our woods! I was in charge of the phone one day and was super nervous about it.
But everyone that called, I was able to talk to and tell them what I needed
too! So that was really cool. But now I have the phone a lot more and it's
obnoxious... It's kinda cool though at the same time. Feel like I got me some
authority! Holding the cell phone.. Haha.
Some needed items when
you send a next package:
(there is no rush for
these things. really)
-
Zebra F-420 Pens, they are my favorite! And the pens here are a joke!
-
I'm gonna need some Gillette Fusion razor refills soon... I didn't plan for
that very well!
And
that's about it! I don't really need anything else. I loved getting the Ensign
though! That was a nice treat! Okay well I best be off. Thank you so much for
being the best parent in the whole entire world! I love you all so very much!
All of you, your prayers really help more than I think you know! So I thank you
for that :) Have an amazing day all of you, and God speed!!
