"You will be an official representative of the Church . . . Your purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ . . . Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." . . . Thomas S. Monson

Prelude music...."Mary had a little lamb"...?

A little girl that follows me around the church ALL the time!
Hey Family,
Crazy that I am already writing you back this early right!? I know that I say this every week, but it feels like just yesterday that I was emailing you! This week had just flown by like crazy! We had our first English class last week and it was a success! Elder Owusu and Montrose and I all taught it. There were about 20 people there which is a really good turn out! That was a success. It is really funny to try and teach them how to pronounce the "Th" sound. You don't find that sound in the French language so they can't say it very well! I told them to practice it while they walk down the street and they thought that was pretty funny. We have class every Wednesday at 6:00 for an hour and a half. It is always fun to take a break of teaching the same things everyday and teach a language! I think that is okay to say... Haha. But yeah it is now something that I look forward to! The only down fall is that the church is a good 30 minute walk from our apartment, so it's not so fun to walk there about 6 times a week for various events. I definitely walk a ton more here than I did out in my old Sector!
A Must Have!

I formed a blister on the bottom of my foot, so I am in the process of healing that up nice and good with the Mole Skin that Dad and I bought at Walgreens. I don't know why I remember that so well! One of those weird things that just sticks with you I guess!

During some proselytizing this past week, we ran into a guy that we kind of talked to at a cafeteria that is from London. We didn't think that he was very serious the first time, but as we were headed back to his house, not the first place we contacted him, we figured that it was meant to be for us to teach him! He does not speak really any French, just English and the local language here. He lived in England for 30 years of his life and pretty much grew up here. He is here for work and doesn't know when he will be going back to work in London. He said that he talked with the missionaries 4 to 5 years ago in London but he didn't really know what happened, he just stopped having lessons. I told him that it wasn't by coincidence that we found him here in Africa. The Lord wants him to hear our message let it be in London or on a whole different continent! I am looking forward to teaching him more and hopefully watch him progress. All the lessons are given in English so I do all the teaching. It is very nerve racking and harder to do because everything that I want to say is mixed between English and French haha.  I feel like he is going to progress really well. He still needs to come to church and receive a lot of the lessons, but I think it'll turn out well! I told him that my dad served his mission is London and he told me to ask dad if he knew where Finchley and Hackney were..? Let me know!

Baptismal font in Aglogame

This week the other companionship had a baptism at the branch and we decided to invite Natalie, our new ami, to come. Well that turned out not being such a good idea... The baptism was supposed to start at 10:00, but we didn't end up starting till 12:45 because they didn't have towels for the people after the ordinance. So she ended up leaving at 11:30ish and didn't get to see... Then we didn't see her at church the next day either... We are hoping that she isn't judging the church just off of that one thing! We did have a lesson with her after church on Sunday and taught all of the Restoration and she seemed really interested and said that she was sorry that she couldn't come to church. So I'm hoping the spirit will let her know that the church is still true! You'd be surprised at the things that people find as excuses to not come back to church... We'll be praying for her big time these next couple weeks! Oh yeah and I forgot to mention, the prelude music for the baptism was those preloaded songs that come on keyboards like "Yankee doodle" and "Mary had a little lamb"... No one knew how to play the piano so I guess they thought that was better than nothing! I took a video of it that is pretty hilarious. You'll understand when you see it!

So I don't know why this thought keeps coming to my mind, and I don't know why really at all actually haha. But are you guys thinking of moving? Like houses? I don't know why that idea keeps coming into my head! Maybe I am just crazy! I mean it's okay if you do... You just have to communicate with me first, k? Perfect! Haha, sorry that was really random. Anyways, so with July coming around, I am supper mad that I am going to miss it back at home! July is my favorite time of the year! Fireworks, camping, grandmas for BBQ's, and FOOTBALL!!!! I know that it'll just make future ones in my life that much more exciting though! I am so so so so so excited for football season to start though you have no idea! 2 years, family that I haven't played the sport of football! How insane is that? I cannot even wrap my head around it. Bountiful football, college football, all of it! I am so disappointed that I will be missing it! Dad, make sure that you tell Coach Wall that I will be pulling for them every Friday night!!!! Even though I will be sleeping while they are playing under the lights, they will be in my prayers for sure! Let him know that Bountiful High school this year is reppin' out here in Africa and that I wish him the best of luck this season. I will be there for the 2014 season coachin' up the D ends!! Hahaha ;) I've thought about sending him an email but I don't know if that would be weird? I don't think that it would at all actually haha. I just don't have an address. Hint, hint.

Okay well I am outtie 3000! Have an awesome day you all! And know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts everyday! I love you so much :)
