Luckily I have them all on my back up USB!

I want to be frolicking in our back yard right now!
Dear Family,

Hey there! So as I am sitting here in front of my computer screen trying to think of something to write you, nothing is coming to mind... I know that the week happened, obviously, but I can't really think of anything that happened! Not just that it wasn't an interesting week, nothing just happened! I will try and think of something as I go along I guess... I guess I could start off by saying that I was excited to hear from you! It sounds like everyone is doing well and the snow is starting to fall!! Those pictures made me super jealous! I want to be frolicking in our backyard snow right now! Crazy to think that just one more year and I will be doing exactly that! I am sure that it'll be nice to have these holiday seasons off to focus on writing your awesome son here in Africa, and planning a great Christmas! We are going to celebrate Christmas here the 22 of December and I am excited for that! It will be interesting to have an "African Christmas". My first one in the field! But last one of the mission... Weird. I can't really count the MTC haha. And kudos to Jackson and his wrestling! It sounds like he is turning out to be quite the athlete. Broken ribs and all he is still going strong! Atta boy. I can't wait to get back and still prove to him that I am still stronger than he is ;) Love hearing that everyone is doing well.

Like I said, this week was a good week! Nothing really happened though... Too exciting anyways. The Leavitt’s came over for apartment inspection and we totally won again... Like it's no big deal right. They said that they thought that no one would beat the apartment out in Kelegougan, but who did...? Us! Haha gotta love the apartment inspections. We are going to go to go eat some hamburgers this Thursday I think. So we are pretty stoked for that! I know you asked some questions about the goat so I will go ahead and answer some of them. I was actually really surprised at how much meat we got out of it! We have a freezer full! I guess it is that, or that fact that they literally eat every single part of the animal here! My companion ate the head for lunch and dinner, and the stomach and the intestines I believe are still in the freezer. He ate a lot of them already and I guess is saving them? Haha I don't even know. He is crazy! I am probably not going to eat those. But I did eat the other parts of it and it tastes kinda like turkey... Haha not like good cooked turkey though. Kinda like the Griswolds family turkey they eat for Christmas kinda turkey haha. But still
Goat is kinda like the Griswold's family turkey! Haha
good! We still have a ton of it left... We are probably going to be eating it for the next couple of weeks. I don't know if I have told you this before, but here, they eat A TON of sides like rice, fufu, spaghetti or macaroni, and next to nothing, very little meat. So you rarely fill yourself with meat... Always with the other stuff haha. But it is good! So yeah Jerry is still sittin' in our freezer! I'll try and send a picture of the skull next time. Sorry about no picture today as well... I took my card to get some pictures developed and the guy freaking erased all of my pictures! I was ticked... But luckily I have them all on my back up USB... Some people don't know
Luckily I have them all backed up!

what they're doing. Oh well. So yeah no harm done though I have them all here! You just won't get to see them till I get back. Sorry!

This week we got to baptize Constantine! That was a good one. She doesn't speak a lick of French so one on our members here translated all of the lessons for us. Along with that too, she didn't even know her full name or birthday... I didn't quite understand that. She gave us one name and we baptized her with that. Then when her confirmation came, she gave us a different name and I was like... That is not the name we baptized you with. So that caused a big confusion right in the middle of sacrament meeting. We eventually figured it all out and it is all good now.  Things aren't always too organized here as you can probably tell. With the time, things will all work out I am sure! As well with Gislain and Augustin, we have to move their baptism dates to the first of December because we have general conference this next week, and then after that we have an open house for our new building out here. We haven’t told them yet because we haven't had a lesson with them. But we will get on that and I am sure they will understand. We are still crossing our fingers that they still want to get baptized! After we taught them the Law of Chastity, they kinda got a little skittish.. Which is unfortunate. We'll continue to pray and watch their progression.

Well I think I am going to leave you here for today... Thank you for all of the pictures! I love seeing them every week! They always make me smile! Have fun in that winter wonderland out there in Utah! I love you all and pray for you always. Have a great day and I will talk to you next week! Love you all.
