Family...
You don't know how
many years, months, weeks and days that I have been waiting for the opportunity
to be able to say that it is the month of December in the year 2013. And look,
today is that day... HAPPY DECEMBER! December is the month that I get home...
That means that I'll be home in like, I dunno, just two more weeks is all! Holy
cow! How incredible is that!? It is absolutely amazing! Exciting, unbelievable,
kind of sad, bitter, sweet all wrapped into one big feeling of "I am going
to see my family in no time at all". Ah man... Merry Christmas. It sounds
like you guys had a good week. Robintino's, again... And birthdays! Happy
Birthday Debbie! Tell her that I got her birthday letter, on the day of her
birthday! So it was like we celebrated it all together! I hope she had a good
birthday! And Thanksgiving sounds like it was good as well. It seems like
yesterday we were all at Sheree's when I was there! The last big family get
together before I left.. Guess I'll be home for the next one :)
My week was pretty
good... To be completely honest, not much happened that was very exciting.
First off, I started using those white strips, and I thought that I was going
to cry... They make my teeth so freaking sensitive! Even to smile or sing hurts
them... Haha it
sucks. I didn't know if it was normal or not for them to hurt
that bad, so I called President Weed, a dentist, asking him if I was going to
live, because I really didn't think that I was going to haha. But these were
his comforting words, "Yeah, that's totally normal, beauty comes at a price
Elder."... Haha so I sucked it up and am still using them BUT they are
making my teeth a lot whiter though! And that's what I wanted... So thanks for
the birthday gift :) Even though my teeth kill...

We are receiving
contacts like CRAZY right now! It is ridiculous! The members are giving us
people to teach like it's their day job... Seriously! Out of the 9 baptismal
dates that we have fixed, 8 of them were referrals from members. The
Anfamé Branch, SOON TO BE A WARD!!! Is the best! Yes, that is true...
Soon to be a ward! I am going to be here for the making of the very first
stake here in Togo! How awesome is that!? President just called the Zone
Leaders this week telling us to inform all the missionaries to invite as many
people as possible... How awesome is that? When I first got here, the thought
of a Stake wasn't even a question in mind... And now it is going to happen next
Sunday! My very last Sunday in Africa! Yahoo! That means that I am going to get
to see all the missionaries in Togo before I leave, and all of my recent
converts here in Togo! I am so blessed!
My Thanksgiving, was
definitely not as good as yours...
BUT, we did kid of celebrate it
nevertheless... Elder Faerber, Ringle, Haggard, Shearer, Lemaire and Layton
(me) all went to Akifs! One last time before I eat a real hamburger... Haha.
But it was fun. I took a picture of my food, but it is nothing that you haven't
seen before. I didn't get any good pictures because I was too hungry.. So
sorry. Other than that ya know... Nothing really happening too much here. Just
doing the ole missionary thang. Oh yeah, yesterday I bore my testimony for the
last time in our branch... I cried (just a little) because the next time I will
be behind a pulpit will be in America! And the next time I take the sacrament
will be in America too... Because we won't be taking it this Sunday, Stake
conference, and then the next Sunday I will be in Brussels and Chicago... Then
I will be home! So that is kinda lame and I don't like that... But you gotta do
what you gotta do I guess.

Well I think that I
am going to leave you here for this week. Thank you for all that you do for me!
Your support, your love, your craziness and all... You guys are truly the best.
I will be talking to you next Monday! For the last time till in person! Heck
maybe I won't even write you next week... I guess we'll see...
