"You will be an official representative of the Church . . . Your purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ . . . Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." . . . Thomas S. Monson

A Blessing of Comfort

“It’s always been same old mundane stuff here at the mtc but at the same time, I never feel bored!  The spirit is always so strong whenever you’re in class or wherever you go!  I love it! My testimony has grown so much its crazy about how important this Gospel is in all our lives.  I always knew that I wanted to go on a mission, but it never hit me how important it is!  Yes it might not be something that I had to do, but I learned that if I had decided not to, how I wouldn’t have been able to bring people into this amazing Gospel!  I love the fact that I have the opportunity to bring people into our church by baptism!  I can’t wait to get out into the field.   We have such an amazing opportunity to receive the amazing priesthood that was restored back to the earth from Jesus Christ through Joseph Smith.
I’ve only been out in the MTC for just about 3 weeks and I’ve already had the opportunity to give one of my roommates a blessing of comfort.  The spirit in the room was so strong and powerful it was insane! So cool to give a blessing, not from you, but from the Holy Ghost.”
